Sea & Air Freight Notes

20ft Container : LCL –  approx. 960 cases and Palletised –  approx. 760 cases

This number may increase if there is more beer being loaded and decrease if there are more spirits being packed

40ft Container : LCL – 1400 cases and Palletised – 1100 cases

Please note that due to weight restrictions (CBM), the capacity of a 40ft container is not double that of a 20ft container.

AIR FREIGHT

The total freight charge will be calculated based on the weight of the cargo, plus a fuel surcharge (FSC)

and security surcharge (SCC).

A pallet weighs approximately 20kg and this weight may need to be added to the total weight of your goods.

If you require your goods to be packed in wooden boxes, this service will be quoted for separately at the time of your order confirmation.

It is advisable to send liquor and wine, rather than beer, by air freight as the unit values are higher, making the freight charge comparatively less per drinks unit
